The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits of The United Methodist Church invites you to attend the Clergy Benefits Academy.

Date: November 10-12, 2008
Place: Lake George, New York
By attending, you will:
- Learn how to care for your financial, emotional and physical well-being with age-focused coursework;
- Gain knowledge and information necessary to make confident decisions about your own personal situation;
- Participate in one-on-one consultations and get answers to your personal questions from a knowledgeable General Board staff member; and
- Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The General Board has negotiated room rates at the event hotel: Fort William Henry Resort & Conference Center. The event will be held onsite at this location.

Room Rate: $79.90 plus tax per night.
Note: Making the hotel reservation and the cost for hotel accommodations is the responsibility of the attendee. Please tell the hotel you are attending the Clergy Benefits Academy to obtain the negotiated rate.
The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits will hold rooms at these hotels until October 10, 2008. Please make your hotel reservations for this event prior to this date in order to secure the low room rate as described above. Registration
Register early for a rate of $99.00 ($150.00 with spouse). Registration after September 30, 2008 is $125.00 ($175.00 with spouse). The registration fee includes:
- Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday,
- Refreshment breaks and
- Academy materials
Daycare Information
The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits does not provide on-site daycare for your little ones. However, we will provide a 50% discount on an additional sleeping room for a child-care provider to come along with you. Great opportunity for a grandma / grandpa / church friend, etc. Please contact Anne Green for more details / information.
